Oriental delight 👌

- 5 / 5 stars -1 week ago

To wrap up a beautiful holiday, we decided to have dinner at this cozy and authentic Lebanese restaurant. We were there earlier this year in February and once again we had a great evening. The owner is such a kind and friendly person, making you feel very welcome. We can definitely recommend the cordero al salsa de sesame (lamb stew with tahin sauce and sesame) ! And the delicious té de herbabueno afterwards 👌 Gracias !

worthy of its number one place

I've reviewed Tabule before but after the wonderful meal we ate there again this week I'm going to do so again. The owner/waiter is so friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. We ate lamb as one of our dishes again as it is a favourite, moist and tender in a delicious tagine. The item we had never tried before was hamara, a dip based on roasted red peppers. It is absolutely delicious, a family recipe we were told. I'm afraid many restaurants don't live up to expectation, but this one does and more.Hasta Pronto

Very friendly service

- 4 / 5 stars -2 weeks ago

We visited this small restaurant for the first time after seeing the great reviews on TA. The food was nice, but we had hoped for a bit more flavour. Compared to similar restaurants we’ve visited (not in Torre) the food was average. The service however was excellent. Very friendly and patient. For that reason, four stars.

Delicious

- 4 / 5 stars -3 weeks ago

We saw this restaurant on trip advisor and made a determined effort to visit. We were not disappointed. My husband had mixed cheese filo parcels, followed by lamb in tahini sauce whilst I ate lamb tagine with dates and potatoes. We will definitely go back again as it was absolutely delicious. Good friendly service too.

Very impressed

Very good middle eastern food. Everything made from scratch. Service on the slow side (kebabs are cooked in a traditional oven and it takes time) but extremely nice. We arrived at about 3:30 or 4 pm and were worried that the kitchen would be closed but everything was great.

Tried here and happy that we did

Always looking for something different is not easy when being vegetarian and living in Spain. We have always enjoyed Lebanese so when we knew this restaurant was here we had to try it. Good dishes and great service. All clearly made to order.

Fabulous! This has become our favorite place

- 5 / 5 stars -2 months ago

We love this restaurant! Not only is the food absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is beautiful. The owner and his wife cook the meals and serve. They are a very warm couple, always a smile for you. The ingredients are always fresh. This is one of the best restaurants in Torre Del Mar.

Excellent food stop on a warm evening.

First stop on our trip to Torres Del Mar. Very happy with the choice as we would normally browse through several menus before choosing our restaurant. Enjoyed the food with a few drinks. Set us up nicely for an evening stroll along the front.

Outstanding food, warm welcome

We were recommended Tabule by two different friends and I couldn’t wait to try. When you step into the restaurant you can tell these are people who care deeply about their trade - they’re really welcoming, friendly and helpful. A lot of effort has been put into the decoration and it’s been worth it. We ordered mint tea to start which was delicious. Then we had the Mutabal (aubergine dip) which was easily the best I’ve had, served with a beautifully fluffy fresh flatbread. My husband spends a lot of time in Lebanon (and Morocco) and says this is the real deal. The owner was happy to make my main vegetarian for me (really yummy goats cheese salad), and actually there are a number of veggie choices. My husband had the lamb tagine which he said was fabulous. We’ll go back soon, think I’ll dream of the Mutabal!

Really delicious food fantastic bread

This was a very friendly restaurant I thought it was closed at first because the weather was not brilliant and it looked closed from the outside I have recommended it to friends .I love Lebanese food It is easy to find in France but this is the first one I have found here I had the lamb tagine with lovely Lebanese bread. Excellent If I go with my husband we will share as it was a big portion but either of my sons could eat a full portion .The weather is warmer now and I am nearing the end of my holiday Lots of places to go but I shall put it high on my list for my next holiday! If I had had time I would have tried more dishes!

Fresh Flavours

- 4 / 5 stars -5 months ago

Tabule is located in the quieter end of Torre del Mar with indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside and enjoyed a lovely meal. We kicked off with Mutabbal served with some light pitta bread ( I hate it when it's heavy and too doughy ) followed by a lamb tagine and chicken cooked with garlic, lemon and potatoes. All the food was fresh and finger licking good! Prices match the quantity and quality of the food and service was friendly and efficient. We will definitely return to try more dishes.

Great Lebense Food

- 5 / 5 stars -6 months ago

We turned up a week ago for a meal at this restaurant but we couldn't get in due to a big party that had booked, so we went back this week, and so glad we did. There was one other table occupied besides us so it was fairly quiet, but don't let this put you off. The whole place has a lovely atmosphere and the owner is a lovely attentive man. My husband ordered a glass of red wine, which was just not to his taste, so another bottle was presented to him and the owner let him taste it before deciding, which was more his style, so he was happy. We ordered the Samoas and the Red Pepper dip to start. Both were delicious, and the dip was accompanied with some warm flat bread. For our mains we ordered Lamb Tajine and a Lamb in tahini dish. The Tajine was superb, and although the tahini was equally as good, my husband just found it a little too rich for his taste, but this is just a personal thing and no flaw on the meal itself. After all of this we were both full and decided to leave it at that, when all of a sudden the owner put another dish on the table for us. It was a cinammon pudding that is very traditional in Lebanon apparently. OMG it was delicious and very light, we managed to finish it all, and it was given to us completely free. You can not fault this restaurant, from the food, to the service, to the personal touch. This man knows how to run a great place. If you get bored of the local food come here. You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful Lebanese cusine in Torre del Mar

- 5 / 5 stars -6 months ago

Four of us went for lunch today and it is no surprise the overall ratings for this new addition to Torre del Mar are all "Excellent". The owner is welcoming and friendly and he and his companera know what they are doing in the kitchen. This is REAL Lebanese cuisine with the right spices and flavours...We arrived at 2PM just as the carniceria driver was bringing in beautiful fresh lamb ..front and hind quarters, and we know that the lamb on skewers one of us had was cut right from it. Tender and delicious. We shared appetizers of fire roasted Mutabal (smoky grilled eggplant laced with meat); fresh Fattoush salad and roasted red pepper Hamra with nuts and spices, Then, juicy kafta with tahini, roast lamb, clay oven chicken and the aforementioned skewers.. Nothing left on any plate. Artfully simple and delicious Lebanese desserts... relying on their versions of yogurts and labneh and sealed with cardammon-scented Lebanese coffee brewed the old fashioned way.. We will all be back!! Superb all around.

Had a lovely evening with a group of 20 friends. Table was prepared and nicely set when we arrived. Food was superb, great Lebanese kitchen. It is a family restaurant and we were served and looked after by the owner, this always make a difference and adds a positive vibe to the whole experience. We ll be definitely be back soon.

Something different in Torre del Mar

- 5 / 5 stars -6 months ago

We visited Tabule yesterday evening, booked as a special event for 15 demanding women! We were treated to a Lebanese banquet (meze)! Wonderful food, freshly cooked and so tasty and aromatic. The owner was very attentive and also generous with the wine. We were quoted an all-in price and it was incredible value for money. We had a fabulous night and I'm sure we will be going back and taking our families with us next time.

Delicious food, friendly owner

- 5 / 5 stars -7 months ago

Looking for something different in Torre I spotted this restaurant on Trip Advisor. Every review excellent must be good. And it is, interesting menu, great flavours, tender lamb. All the food looked and tasted authentic and delicious and was obviously freshly cooked. It wasn't on the menu but the people at the next table asked for a mixture of starters and the owner put it together for them. The owner was friendly and helpful and on a cool night there was a gas fire to keep us cosy.Looking forward to coming back and trying other dishes. As another reviewer says, we need places like this in Torre, so give it a go and support culinary diversity! You won't regret it.

One of the best in town

- 5 / 5 stars -8 months ago

Whole hearted meat dishes that will tickle your fancy. The owner is a great guy that will try to make your dinner as good as possible can be. We ate half of the menu and everything was amazing. Will happily eat there again. The lamb with tahina and potatoes was some of the best foods youl find in torre ex beef@la brasseri and pasta@bar italia/pasta punto

A hidden gem in Torre!

- 5 / 5 stars -8 months ago

Such fresh, healthy, tasty food. All made to order. The hummus is the best in the world. In fact everything we’ve had there has been top notch. Torre really needs different flavours like this, so please go and make this the success it deserves to be. Lovely people too. Go. Taste the difference. You’ll be back for more! It’s a little out of the way, on the Main Street, next door to the Thai Siam. Don’t miss this culinary treat. Really, you’ll miss out!

One of my new favourite local places. Extensive menu, really tasteful dishes. I had the lamb Tagine which was amazing. 9 of us in total. Food all came out at the same time. Everything fresh and delicious. Will soon be back. Thank you for a great lunch.
